Once you have activated your scanner and joined the Resistance you should "ask to join" any local communities and reach out to your nearby fellow Resistance agents via faction comms. They can help you with portal locations, supplies, tactics, leveling up and the best places for food and drinks when the Ingressing gets too much (or you're waiting for a portal to cool down).
How do I join the ResistanceMY community?
To join our community, you must have a Google+ account. You must also be a member of the Resistance faction in Ingress and only possess a single Ingress account. Please follow all of these steps:
- Ask to join the Ingress Resistance Malaysia on Google+.
- For additional vetting purposes, please fill out our New Agent Form.
- Send the Ingress Resistance Malaysia moderators a message in the Faction tab of Ingress or the Ingress Intel Map by saying:
@MiloAis @Inclusive @sabre23t @dragonfei @wantonly @sonvic @wantonly Applied - The moderators you tagged above will verify your name in Faction chat and match it with your Google+ name on the new agent form to approve you. Please keep an eye on Faction chat for any additional instructions or questions from the moderators. Further, please reach out to one of the moderators listed above if you feel your application has been rejected in error.
By continuing with the vetting process, you agree to all of the above. If a moderator determines misbehavior, he or she reserves the right to remove you from the community.
Once You're In
- Be sure to announce your Ingress agent name, level, and where you usually play (area of operations) in the Ingress Resistance Malaysia community.
- Ingress Resistance Malaysia moderators will then notify the local leaders to contact you to invite you to one of our local sub-communities and Google Hangouts chats.
- Read through past posts, especially tips and tricks.
- Don't be afraid to ask for help! You can even ask to meet a local player for a quick tutorial. Ingress is a team sport, no single player is too big or too small.
